  • So, under Clinton we had a pay as you go plan that resulted in a surplus budget. Then under Bush that went away and both the size of government and spending skyrocketed.

  • PappaDave: there are plenty here in America living in abject poverty, yet we send more aide to allies than we spend to feed and house them. Are we a Christian nation? What were Christ's commands? Who are we to set the limits for those commands at our borders?

  • Hey Scott- Just to be clear, I spent 22.5 years in the military serving this country...and I don't mind one bit that other people wish to be here so much that they risk life and limb to do so.
